Greek is basically a teen dramady with a little bit of Animal House thrown in for good measure, along with a slight peppering of 90210.

Greek Seasons 1-3 is made up of story and character elements found in other programs, but it infuses enough originality and craft to become its own entity. At first it can be difficult getting involved with the characters as most come across as awfully self-centered. Eventually, though, the charm of the actors is enough to win viewers over.
The Greek balances college life with humor and drama in a way that is genuinely entertaining, even for someone like me, who is weeks away from turning thirty-one and thus at least slightly outside what I’m guessing is the targeted age demographic for the show.
The main stars of The Greek are brother and sister, Rusty and Casey Cartwright. In the first season we got to see Rusty as he experienced rush week at Cyprus-Rhodes University. Life wasn't looking easy since he was a normal, albeit antisocial, kid trapped in a geek's body, and his socially addicted sister wasn't exactly helping matters much.
The episodes for the dvd are spaced out over three discs with most of the special features laid out on the third disc. The episode commentaries are included on whichever discs feature those particular episodes.
The Greek earns a recommendation to those who are seeking a well-rounded teen dramedy. Recommended the
