What Have Happened in Naomi's Private Practice

05/28/2012

Do you want to know how Addison begine her new life in Naomi's private practice? Come to Private Practice Season 5 DVD now and get the answer.

Sam, Cooper, Charlotte and Amelia team up to save the life of their friend Pete after he suffers a heart attack, while Violet, who was in the middle of leaving Pete and LA, is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Addison's desire to have a baby leads her to see Jake Reilly, her recent mystery man, in a most surprising place, and Sheldon tries to help Amelia in her battle with alcohol.

In Private Practice Season 5, Cooper was revealed to have had an 8 year old son to a previous one night stand. The son, who's named Mason, is portrayed by child actor Griffin Gluck. While Gluck initially served as a guest star, he was promoted to series regular later on in the season.

Over time I grew to like this show. Though these characters often had a lot of arrogance, hypocrisy, narcissism, a plethora of melodrama, and words such as these, the good moments overrode those. But it felt like with the final show everyone walked away after phoning in their shots to be taped together and then it was ended with a gruesome end - the baby shot in surgery - though I understood the dilemma, did we have to see that? I don't think this show was surviving on depicting realistic surgery scenes - especially when they are often doing something SO critical yet carrying on this casual conversation making you hope you would have more attention paid to you during your surgery.

After realizing that her life isn't advancing at Seattle Grace, Addison packs her bags and heads off to Santa Monica to start a new life. She reunites with her newly divorced med school friends, Naomi (Audra McDonald) and Sam (Taye Diggs), and joins them in their chic private practice. The series, created by Shonda Rhimes, is produced by ABC Television Studio in collaboration with The Mark Gordon Company and Shondaland Productions. It first aired as an episode of Grey's Anatomy. The episode, titled The Other Side Of This Life, was known as a backdoor pilot. It tested the idea of the show, but also shared the plot with Grey's Anatomy scenes weaving in and out, from which it was spin-off.
