The Grey's Anatomy Season 8 DVD finale begins with an obvious homage top Lost. Meredith is staring up at the sky, flashing back to the pilot when the interns first came to Seattle Grace.
The residents travel to San Francisco for the oral boards; sparks fly when Richard and Catherine (Debbie Allen) bump into each other at a hotel; Alex feels guilty about being away from the hospital when Tommy's health takes a turn for the worse.
I absolutely loved seeing Cristina stand up for Kepner when there have been so many moments when she’s really laid it on her. To me, it showed a true moment of unity as these doctors all go their separate ways. But though that moment was a bright spot, things continued to go downhill for April until she landed smack down at the bottom when Hunt told her that even Seattle Grace couldn’t keep her on staff. April is seriously unraveling, and even though she’s a pretty irritating character, I can't help but really feel for her.
In
Grey's Anatomy Season 8, the victim ended up being Lexie (Chyler Leigh), who met her untimely end after the team was involved in a plane crash. In arguably the most intense scene Grey’s has delivered in quite some time, Mark (Eric Dane) tried desperately to pick up the wing of the plane that was crushing her.
The doctors find Lexie trapped and Cristina takes one look at her and knows that this is the end. Mark Sloan refuses to accept it and demands Cristina help her. Then we get an impossibly sad moment when Sloan admits he loves Lexie and she has to stay alive so they can get married and have kids and be happy because they were meant to be.
I realize this is a show full of fictional characters but I am invested in my shows! I feel so completely cheated out of watching her and Mark build a life together. EASYDVDMART will give you more guide if you love the show.
