The Californication Season 5 DVD story takes place two years and nine months after season 4, almost at the end of Hank's probation. Hank has since made his home in New York, but returns to Los Angeles for a business related visit, which gets extended following family issues. Karen is married to Professor Bates, Becca (now 19 years old and in college) has a new boyfriend, and Marcy is married to Stu Beggs while sharing custody of her son, Stuart, with Charlie.

Excellent. Lives up to the high standard set by the preceeding 4 seasons, well written, funny as, people you can identifiy with great acting & the pleasure of seeing friends that you have grown to know and love over the previous seasons. Do NOT miss this for the world. Great effort by our friends at EzyDVDmart as well. Thanks guys, speedy delivery of a very nice item.
I don't like it too much. I think parents don't allow their children to watch this show, because there are some bad things in this show such as drug and sex.
It is just so-so. On the other, the price is satisfying. Hope there are more excellent show at this site.
Sometime, I think Hank is very terrible. But this show sometimes is very interesting because it delves into Hank's mind. He is flawed, and yet loved in spite of all of his mistakes. As viewers, we are astonished by his hijinks and relieved when he is accepted.
It seems a little sexy. But it is a comedy and has a lot of funny scenes in this story. On one hand, Hank want to win his ex-wife's and daughter's love. On the other hand, he is Immersed in drugs, alcohol and endless sex and can't pull himself out. He gets some but also loose some.
